Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Baby Blue Ice' is a new dwarf conifer that has thrilled us in our trials. This amazing selection from Oregon conifer guru Larry Stanley, was found as a dwarf mutation on Chamaecyparis 'Baby Blue', which was as dwarf Australian-selected sport of the popular Boulevard Cypress. At 12 years of age, the plants should reach 9' tall x 6' wide. The juvenile foliage is quite soft, and the blue color adds even more charm. We think this is destined for greatness.
