This crested form of the deer-resistant lady fern was first introduced in England in 1873. Hopefully, with new propagation advances, it will become more widespread. Each 2' tall x 2' wide clump of deeply cut leaves ends in an attractive crest. All but the driest of soils suit this easy-to-grow fern.
