    This is the green-backed counterpart to A. porphyronotum with the same dramatically silver-blotched leaves that can reach 6" in length. In early spring, the stunning evergreen clumps are adorned with interestingly bizarre 1" wide flowers of dark purple with a wrinkled white eye.
