This selection of our easy-to-grow East Coast native ginger comes from hosta guru Alex Summers of Honeysong Farms. This selection of the tight-clumping species makes an evergreen mound of foliage to 1' in width. Each clump is composed of medium green heart-shaped leaves, highlighted with a dramatic wide silver vein pattern. In spring, the clumps are adorned with cute white and maroon spotted flowers clustered just below the leaves...take a peek.
