This superb evergreen Southeast US native ginger (often confused with A. virginicum) makes an outstanding clump in the woodland garden. The heart-shaped leaves of glossy dark green are highlighted with a dramatic silver veining... a perfect plant to use with ferns in the woodland garden. In April, each 1' wide clump is home to cute little purple and white flowers that are hidden just below its dress... take a peek!
