This easy to grow Japanese species is a vigorous clump former for the moist well drained spot in the woodland garden. The dark green rounded leaves are home to a variety of speckled silver patterns. The flowers are insignificant by asarum standards... unless you're a perverted botanist! We believe this to be one of the first US offerings of this rare ginger.
