We are pleased to offer Asarum 'Galaxy', avegetatively propagated selection of the durable Asian ginger, Asarum faurei var. takaoi. This tight clumper makes one of the best evergreen specimens of any of our gingers and looks as good in the late winter as it does in early summer. Medium green 2" rounded leaves, patterned with large blotches of silver, adorn the plant and in 5 years, expect a patch to 1' wide. Each clump is adorned with small, three-petaled, flesh-colored flowers that are hidden at the leaf axils. This is truly a superb selection for the woodland garden...both as a specimen and in a mass planting.
