    This rare species from the Ryukyu Islands in Japan makes an evergreen clump of rounded green foliage, usually patterned with silver veining. The small triangular purple brown heavily wrinkled flowers are tucked beneath the foliage in spring.... can't say their beautiful... just bizarre!
