Arisaema 'Silver Seas' is a Hans Hansen selection of the Japanese Arisaema urashima with a nice glaucous 11-15 lobed horseshoe-shaped leaf, each lobe highlighted by a band of silver down the middle. The flower is typical of this offsetting species, emerging in mid-April on a short stalk among the foliage with a large black hood, white throat, and long whip-like sex organ that'll scare off even the most seasoned pollinator.
