I'll bet you can't pronounce this one (hint...try ching...sha...chiang). This cool new Jack-in-the-Pulpit from the Yunnan Province of Southern China was discovered in 1983 by Professor Li Heng along the Jinshajiang River. Arisaema jinshajiangense makes a single stalk of glossy green tripartite leaves, usually highlighted by a splendid central silver pattern. I'd grow this species for the foliage alone. The small purple flower is held just above the foliage in May.
