This Alan Galloway discovery from Central Thailand looks quite a bit like the diminutive A. obscurus in foliage, except for the heavily serrated leaf edges. These represent forms with tiny, yellow leaf spotting as compared to the other solid green leaf forms. The short inflorescence, which occurs after the leaf fades in fall (unlike the spring-flowering A. obscurus), is composed of a greyish purple spathe, speckled inside and topped with a rigid pink limb...small, but cute.
