This Alan Galloway discovery from Central Thailand looks quite a bit like the diminutive A. obscurus in foliage, except for the heavily serrated leaf edges. The short inflorescence, which occurs after the leaf fades in fall (unlike the spring-flowering A. obscurus), is composed of a greyish purple spathe, speckled inside and topped with a rigid pink limb...small, but cute.
