We first saw this hardy ginger lily on a garden trip to Louisiana. All we could wonder was why this gem wasn't more widely grown. The central stalks arch upward from a compact rhizome. Each stalk is adorned with 16" long x 2.5" wide, fragrant green leaves. The terminal spikes of white flowers with dramatic red striping occur atop the plant in late spring...really cool!
