Agave havardiana 'Big Bend Giant' is an amazing strain of the southwestern native (Texas/Mexico) Agave havardiana. In the Big Bend region (Chisos Mountain Range), these amazing blue foliage plants average 4' tall x 6' wide, with some specimens reaching a startling 8' tall x 10' wide...this is not your grandmother's Agave havardiana! These plants are on average about 3x the size of the species from other parts of its range. We are of yet uncertain how the winter hardiness of these compare to other populations of the typically Zone 5a century plants.
