(syn: A. cundinamarcensis 'Marginata') Agave cundinamarcensis is a rarely grown century plant, due in part to its native range, in the Colombian Province of Cundinamarca, being so distant from the ranges of the more well-known agave species. A wide cream-margined form of Agave cundinamarcensis has been shared by a few European collectors, but never properly named. So we've christened it Agave cundinamarcensis 'Condor', after the Colombian national bird, which also has a lovely white ring. The non-offsetting Agave 'Condor' grows quite large like its namesake, forming a 6' tall x 12' wide specimen, composed of smooth glossy green leaves edged with tiny hacksaw-like teeth and bordered with a wide two-tone edge of pale minty-green, outlined in creamy-yellow. Agave 'Condor' is truly impressive when grown in large containers. This is a limited opportunity to add this very rare specimen to your century plant collection.
