Agave 'Lasting Impressions' is a 2023 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of what is, to our knowledge, the first variegated selection of the non-offsetting Mexican native Agave chazaroi. With age, it also forms the dramatic white leaf line markings of Agave impressa, which we initially thought this was. Agave chazaroi is a recently described (2007) species from Jalisco, Mexico. The wide green, spineless foliage of Agave 'Lasting Impressions' is highlighted by a muted chartreuse border. This cutie was discovered and shared by NC plantsman Mike Papay. Eventual size in warmer climates is 2.5' tall x 5' wide, but it stays much smaller in containers.
