Also, since white flowers reflect moonlight so well, they make great night blooming plants for an evening garden.
Many couples like to get married in a white garden on a small gazebo where the bride, in her white dress, can be surrounded by white leaves and white garden flowers. White gardens are just one example of a style of gardening called single-color gardening where an entire bed displays just one color shown against green leaves. The most famous white garden is in England at Sissinghurst Castle and was built in 1931 by the prominent landscape designer, Vita Sackville-West. Since then, white gardens have spread all over the world and have become a vital part of any elegant landscape design.
