Guihaia is a palm tree genus containing just two species (G. argyrata and G. grossifibrosa) from China and Vietnam respectively. Guihaia is not only taxonomically small, it is physically small, producing 3' tall understory shrubs that slowly grow into suckering clumps.Guihaia palms produce fan-shaped fronds and although they are found in the forest understory in the wild, they can tolerate sunny spots, too
