(syn: Echinopsis atacamensis var. pasacana) This very high-elevation (over 8,000' elevation) tree cacti makes a dazzling 30' tall spire, covered in short white hair...like you by the time your plant will reach 30' tall. Unlike T. terscheckii, T. pasacana rarely branches until it gets quite old. If you like to experiment, this should be a great challenge for gardeners who can provide dry soils in the winter.
