    Wild phlox is a spectacular native makes a 2" tall evergreen ground cover (never invasive). In early spring (April in NC), the flower stalks arise to 12" with quarter size very fragrant blue lavender flowers...much more floriferous and tighter growth with some sun...spectacular!
