xMangave 'Racing Stripes' is a 2018 introduction and a new look in the Walters Gardens Mad about Mangave series. By combining Agave lophantha and Agave pablocarrilloi with Manfreda maculosa, breeder Hans Hansen has created a lovely dwarf 8" tall x 14" wide, with long, beautifully toothed, wavy green leaves, each highlighted by a central chartreuse band. xMangave 'Racing Stripes' forms a few offsets close to the parent clump. Our plants came through 11 degrees F in great shape.
