xMangave 'Crazy Cowlick' is a fascinating 2018 hybrid involving Agave bovicornuta, Agave gypsophila ssp. pablocarrilloi crossed with a manfreda hybrid from the Walters Gardens breeding program. xMangave 'Crazy Cowlick' forms a 20" tall x 3' wide specimen composed of very wide, wavy green leaves, each with large purple spots, concentrated heaviest toward the center. To top that off, each leaf is lined with hundreds of steak knife-like red teeth...truly stunning!
