This wonderful white-flowered, sterile, hybrid surprise lily (probably Lycoris traubii x Lycoris radiata) is similar in form to Lycoris radiata. The short, narrow, green deer-resistant foliage emerges in fall and remains until late spring. In September, the flower stalks pop out of the ground to surprise all around. The flowers are glowing-white spidery heads (occasionally tipped light pink) on 15" stems...fun to mix through the garden for a later summer moment!
