This 2002 introduction from Bill Janssen of Collector's Nursery makes an amazing 8" tall x 18" wide mound of spiral golden and green variegated foliage. Keep in mind that the term "foliage" is used very loosely. Each leaf is actually a 1' long tightly wound golden spring that elongates as it grows. Before now, you had to use good mind-altering substances to imagine plants this bizarre. If you enjoyed the green version, you'll flip when you see J. 'Blonde Ambition'. Corkscrew rush prefers a slightly moist soil for best results.
