    This is our favorite member of the hawkweed family, many of which are downright weeds...not so with H. lanatum. The dazzling silvery spoon shaped leaves make a nice rosette to 15"...perfect in the sunny well drained rock garden setting. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 18" spikes of yellow composite like flowers...you will fall in love all over again!
