This hard-to-find selection of confederate rose mallow makes a large, shrubby perennial to 10' tall, clothed in bold-textured, fuzzy green, maple-shaped leaves. In early fall, the plants are topped with large, double corsage-sized flowers that open white, then change to pink for the next day. In Zone 7, establish plants early in the season for best overwintering. Mulch is helpful in overwintering plants grown at the northern end of their hardiness range.
