Introduced by Belgium's Ghent Botanic Garden prior to 1850 comes this still-rare selection of the hybrid, Epimedium grandiflorum x Epimedium pinnatum ssp. colchicum. Epimedium 'Neosulphureum' makes a tight-growing clump of evergreen foliage (Zone 7 south) that is topped in early spring with clusters of pale yellow flowers on 12" stalks. We recommend removing the old foliage in spring for the best floral display.
