    This is a shrub like ephedra making a 3' x 3' mass of tangled yellowish green spaghetti noodle stems. This species was collected by Josef Halda in the Asian mountains at 5500' elevation. E. przewalskii has that 'been sprayed with 2,4-D look' that wierd plant collectors will truly love!
