Crinum 'Transformer' is a Dave Lehmiller cross of the Australian Crinum luteolum with our native Crinum americanum. The fast-multiplying clump is topped, starting for us in early August and continuing into October with 28" tall spikes that start as soft yellow buds, open as large, out-facing, pure white fragrant flowers, that miraculously change to beautiful soft pink the following day. The combination of yellow, white, and pink at the same time is a trait we've never seen on any other crinum lily...very unique. Dave released a few of these without a name, but we found it so unique, we named it and are formally introducing it in 2021.
