From Sherry Kitto at the University of Delaware and Jean Frett at Mt. Cuba Center in DE, comes this new selection of the fabulous and easy-to-grow Alabama native ginger. The large arrowhead-shaped 10" leaves of green are marbled with muted silver patterns. We often will remove the old foliage in late spring to enjoy the dazzling floral show made by these oversized bizarrely patterned flowers. The name A. 'Buxom Beauty' indicates that this selection is larger in all parts...especially the sexual organs...glad it was named by women!
