    From Hugh Redgrove of New Zealand, comes this new A. inapertus hybrid with bold strap-like green foliage to 2' tall. In early summer, this robust grower is topped with sturdy, thick 5-6' stems bearing umbels of dark purple flowers (RHS 89A)... a superb color break in the genus.
