Asplenium (Spleenwort)
Asplenium is a diverse genus of ferns that contains both very small and very large plants. The ferns in this genus have a worldwide distribution. Like most ferns, asplenium prefers partial shade and rich, well-drained, consistently moist soil, as asplenium roots may rot in heavy, wet soils. Asplenium ferns pair well with hosta and ornamental grasses.
