(syn: Cooperia pedunculata) From our 1994 trip into the Mexican Sierra Chiquita Mountains, comes this superb, but rarely offered rain lily. The original bulb was chiseled from a clump growing in a rock crevice at 3000' (#AIM-68). The long, flat, blue-grey leaves can reach up to 2' in length. In July and sporadically throughout the summer, the clumps are topped with afternoon-opening giant 2" pure white flowers, occasionally with a pink edge, but always with a delightful aroma.
