From a Harlan Hamernik expedition to Northern Inner Mongolia (yes, it's really cold there) comes this amazing, but little know sedum. S. tatarinowii is a splendid clump former for the rock garden, whose arching, lax stems are clothed with unique deeply serrated grey-green foliage. For us, the clumps are topped with attractive clusters of white flowers starting in June. This is not one of the faster growing season, so don't expect a full clump until the second season.
