This offering represents our Argentine collection of a fern that is reportedly native only to Asia. The spores were collected north of the city of Tucuman in Northern Argentina at 3,500' elevation. If the spores came to Argentina from China, it must have been a heck of a trip. This collection is smaller in stature than our China collections, so far reaching only 18" tall x 2' wide. The coarse dark green simple leaves make an easy-to-grow marvelous garden specimen, preferring dry alkaline soils, while being amazingly adaptable.
