Pteris cretica 'Wu Wu' is a winter hardy Hans Hansen collection of evergreen ribbon fern that comes from 3,500' elevation near the town of Ping Wu in China's Sichuan Province. Each 2' tall x 3' wide clump is composed of 2' tall stipes of light green leaves, giving a bold, but airy-textured effect in the garden. In the wild, the original clump had wider leaves than the other clones in this population.
