This is our first offering of our 1996 collection from the Cangshan Mountains in China's Yunnan Province. Polygonatum cirrhifolium has an upright central stem adorned with narrow leaves, each ending in a curled tendril. The leaves occur every couple of inches along the stem in whorls of three to six. In May, the small clusters of white flowers also appear in the leaf axils. In the wild, this clone was 7' tall, although in cultivation it has never exceeded 3' tall.
