    This SE US native bear grass (SC to FL) makes a small size clump 1' tall x 2' wide. The narrow pencil-thin rigid evergreen foliage make a grass-like mound that looks good winter and summer. In later spring, the clumps are topped with 4-5' spikes of tiny white flowers....great in mass, or when blended into the border for a textural contrast.
