What else could you name a tall sweet blonde thing like this? This has been the most stunning plant in our trial beds during recent times. From a Mexican dooryard garden near Dallas, via collector Logan Calhoun, comes this fabulous seed strain of 4 o'clock. It actually opens around 7pm (must have originated on the west coast) with hundreds of very fragrant 1"+ light blonde flowers. It then remains open much of the following day. This easy-to-grow four o'clock is a rigidly vertical plant, reaching 6' tall x 2' wide by late summer... great for blending into the border! WAY COOL!
