xMangave 'Queen of Hearts' is a 2025 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a dazzling and ridiculously unique Hans Hansen creation. This Manfreda maculosa hybrid with Agave bovicornuta, forms a small 1' tall x 20" wide clump of narrow, but deeply-channeled leaves that are green, but heavily spotted red violet. When grown in bright sun, the spots in the center of the leaf merge to form a bright red pattern. All of this is edged with a dramatic pure white border. xMangave 'Queen of Hearts' is a stunning container plant where it isn't winter hardy outdoors. Because of its Agave bovicornuta background, it does not like rain in the heat of summer.
