Lycoris x rosea 'Cardinal's Robe' is a Phil Adams cross of Lycoris sprengeri 'Hayward' and Lycoris radiata. The 18" cinnamon stalks are topped for us, starting in mid-August with up to six, scarlet orange, spidery flowers. AS the flowers age, a small blue tip appears at the end of each petal. For us, the foliage emerges in late October, and grows all winter.
