Hosta 'Yellow Sapphire' is a 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a very dwarf hosta whose background includes several generations of Hosta venusta along with rendezvous with Hosta 'Cheatin Heart'. Hosta 'Yellow Sapphire' is a unique miniature hosta that forms a 1" tall x 8" wide patch, composed of bright yellow, 1.5" long pointed leaves. In late June, the clumps are topped with 1' tall spikes of dark lavender flowers.
