Hosta 'Viking Sunshine' is a 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of our 2010 seedling of a cross involving Hosta kikutii, Hosta venusta, Hosta 'Gemstone', Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears' and Hosta 'Faith'. Hosta 'Viking Sunshine' forms a 10" tall x 3' wide clump of rounded golden leaves that emerge chartreuse and brighten dramatically as flowering approaches, starting for us in mid-June. Hosta 'Viking Sunshine' produces an amazing number of spikes with lavender flowers and is truly stunning in bloom.
