    The pink turtle head...not to be confused with the mutant ninja turtleheads, has spikes of turtlehead like flowers are borne atop 24" plants in the late summer and early fall on this southeast US native. While it grows native in bogs and ditches, it is truly adaptable to almost any spot in the garden...great for fall color!
