This easy-to-grow Japanese species of wild ginger makes an attractive, slowly-spreading evergreen groundcover in the woodland garden. The 1.5" round green leaves are highlighted by muted silver patterns. In 5 years, expect a patch to reach 2' wide. Each rosette in the patch is adorned with small three-petaled flesh-colored flowers that are hidden at the leaf axils.
