This unusual form of the fall-blooming Japanese anemone has attractive crinkled green leaves that look more like crispy parsley. In early fall the basal foliage of Anemone 'Crispa' serves as a foil for the 2' tall stalks of single rich-pink flowers. We have not found this to spread in the garden like many of the aggressive Anemone hupehensis cultivars.
