Finally, we are able to offer the rare pink-flowered form of the wonderful Argentine oxblood lily. I first saw this growing in the TX garden of plantswoman Margaret Kane many years ago and hunted for years before I was finally able to obtain a single bulb. The mini-hippeastrum-like bright magenta-pink flowers are held atop "nekkid" 8" stems in August/September. After flowering, the lycoris-like basal foliage emerges and persists through the winter. In late spring, the foliage hibernates and it's a matter of wait-and-watch until the flowers emerge again. The pots that we offer contain a huge 1" + flowering-sized bulb. Pot size: 24 fl. oz (709.77 ml)
