If you have a woodland garden, and could use a ray of figurative sunshine, Boehmeria 'Glow Light' is for you. This amazing, bright gold-foliaged deciduous perennail eventually forms a 2' tall x 4' wide patch of fleshy upright stalks, each clothed in fuzzy leaves. For us, Boehmeria 'Glow Light' has thrived in half-day sun as well as light shade. The fuzzy, tan, pipe-cleaner-like flowers that adorn the upper half of the plant in summer are...well, unusual.
