Aspidistra elatior 'Stars and Stripes' is an old but little-known Japanese cast iron plant cultivar that forms a clump of 36" long x 4" wide medium green leaves, each streaked with creamy yellow and then sprinkled with a few random white dots...certainly far more stripes than stars. Aspidistra 'Stars and Stripes' is a patriotic way to add year-round interest to a woodland garden.
