    This form of the lovely forsythia sage was a gift from renowned gardener, the late Rachel Dunham of Cary, NC. Her clump of forsythia sage has survived for 20+ years (including -9 degrees F in 1984). The fascinating square stems up to 1" diameter shoot skyward in the spring and summer, only to be topped from October through December with 12" long spires of yellow... WOW!
